Host Depot Acquires New Facility

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- July 11, 2002 -- Host Depot, Inc. (a privately held company), today announced it has acquired a new facility in Coral Springs, FL. The facility will house a carrier-grade data center as well as office space for all Host Depot employees.

The new facility is larger and has many technology advancements over its predecessor. The Network Operations Center (NOC) has six times the floor space and a new climate control systems from Liebert. Advanced networking components, such as new, more powerful Cisco routers, additional redundancy and CheckPoint firewall systems, have been purchased. The entire internal network will be wired for Gigabit networking and it will support multiple, diverse carrier circuits.

Ed Rasher, Vice President and CTO said, "The most important difference for me is that we own this building outright". "Yes, we built it from the ground up and made sure every detail was absolutely perfect", added Mark Erskine, President & CEO of Host Depot.

The new facility will begin operation in January of 2003 and all current employees should be moved in by early February of 2003. The increased office space will allow Host Depot to hire additional staff and expand the Sales & Marketing and Design & Development departments.
